Playing everything from beloved classics to new arrangements, Two Sundays is a group of young musicians with a passion for big band music. They have played at venues such as Centennial Lakes Park, The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, The Scott Country Fair, Staring Lake Park, and Crystal Frolics throughout their five years of performance.
Although officially formed in the summer of 2019, the big band's origins can be traced back further. Conor Stoebner, Parker Stoebner, Austin Wu, and Eric Wu (who were 14, 12, 14, and 12, respectively, at the time) began playing together, prompted by their teachers at Chaska Music Studios in the Winter 2015. Although Austin is no longer with the group, they have gradually added members until having enough to form a big band. The band now consists of 20 musicians from 15 to 25 years old. With a wide variety of backgrounds, the band is made up of not only full time musicians, but also members with backgrounds in business, computer engineering, statistics, biochemistry, and psychology.
The band can be found performing around the Twin-Cities Metro during the summer months, however, they can be found playing a handful of shows in the winter as well. If you or somebody you know would be interested in joining the Two Sundays Big Band, please contact us here.
