About Us
Playing everything from beloved classics to new arrangements and originals, the Two Sundays Big Band is a group of young musicians with a passion for big band music. They enjoy playing at galas, charity events, and numerous music in the park events around the midwest.
Although officially formed in the summer of 2019, the big band's origins can be traced back further. Conor Stoebner, Parker Stoebner, Austin Wu, and Eric Wu (who were 14, 12, 14, and 12, respectively, at the time) began playing together, prompted by their teachers at Chaska Music Studios in the Winter 2015. They gradually added members until having enough to form a big band. The band now consists of 20 musicians from 15 to 25 years old. With a wide variety of backgrounds, the band is mostly made up of "retired" high-school and college players looking for opportunities to continue to make music.
The band can be found performing around the Twin-Cities Metro during the summer months, however, they also play a handful of shows in the winter as well.
The band is always looking to connect with more musicians with a passion for big band music, so if you or somebody you know would be interested in joining the Two Sundays Big Band, please contact us here.
