Meet the band! Our members are some of the most talented young musicians in the Twin-Cities area. Although they have many different backgrounds, each of them have a passion for making music.

Director
Conor Stoebner
Conor has been conducting the Two Sundays Big Band since its inception in 2019. He enjoys the challenge of working on some of his favorite music with the dedicated musicians of the band. Conor enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as his hobbies which include go-karting and playing trumpet in other ensembles.

Faith Peterson
Faith is thrilled to make her debut with the Two Sundays Big Band. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She was most recently seen in Lakeshore Players 10 Minute Play Festival. In her spare time, she enjoys songwriting, swing dancing, and spending time with friends and family. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her as she works hard to follow her dreams.
Alto Sax
Parker Stoebner
Parker is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota. He will start his accounting profession in August and until then is working hard to avoid studying for the CPA exam. Parker has been playing saxophone for 11 years and has performed with well known artists including Darius Rucker, Micheal May, and Austin Henderson. Outside of Two Sundays, Parker enjoys beating smaller kids in basketball (you know who you are), running if he feels like it, and cheating in board games.

Sarah Hammerlund
Sarah edits the music for the Two Sundays Big Band and plays alto saxophone. Outside of the band she works as a veterinary technician and her hobbies include playing video games, going to Olive Garden with her friends, and taking selfies with her puppy patients at work - she will show some you if you ask! She graduated from UMD with a biochemistry degree in 2021 and in the future hopes to delve deeper into the world of animal science. She is looking forward to sharing her love of music with her friends this summer!

Austin Henderson
Austin is a rising Junior at Chaska High School and is entering his fourth year playing with Two Sundays. He also plays in the Chaska High School Jazz Band and Wind Symphony led by Tim Beckler. Austin enjoys listening to Sonny Rollins, David Sanborn, Cannonball Adderley, Steve Cole, and he is a student of the local saxophone great Kenni Holmen. When Austin is not playing jazz music, he enjoys mountain biking, downhill skiing, basketball and jet skiing.

Emily Toews
Emily is a music education major studying at UW-Eau Claire and will be a sophomore in the fall. She has been involved with UWEC’s Jazz Ensemble II playing bari, and was a member of the UWEC symphony band as well. Her heart belongs to big band and is especially fond of latin jazz. Outside of band she enjoys painting, playing video games, and playing with her cats.
Bari Sax
Arjun Balyan
Arjun is currently working to complete his degree in Communication Studies at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities this summer. During his time at the U, he spent 4 years playing Alto Sax in the marching band, and 3 years playing Bari Sax in Jazz 1. His favorite sports are tennis, basketball, and skiing. After a long day, he likes to unwind by going on peaceful drives around the metro or playing a chill video game.

Michael May
A recent graduate of the University of Iowa, Michael May works as an Actuarial Analyst at Allianz in Golden Valley. When he isn’t working, Michael devoted his time to his hobbies, including reading, video games, and music. Michael is a prolific jazz musician, specializing in trumpet, trombone, arranging, and composition. His compositions and arrangements are featured on his debut album “Midnight Constellation” which is available to be purchased or streamed on all major platforms.

Ryland Cook
Ryland is a senior pursing a degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science at University of Wisconsin-Stout. He is originally from Farmington, Minnesota. As a trombone player, he is an alumnus of several groups around the state of Minnesota, including Minnesota Youth Jazz Bands, MMEA All State ensembles, and the MBDA Honors Jazz Band. This is his first season with the Two Sundays Big Band. Ryland also played baritone with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps (‘20-’23) and spent two years as a marching band technician at Waseca High School in Waseca, Minnesota. Outside of his musical pursuits, Ryland enjoys playing rugby, lifting weights, and spending time with his girlfriend!

Gianna Leggett
Gianna is a recent graduate from the University of St Thomas with a BS in accounting, and is starting her new accounting job this June. In her free time she enjoys playing Minecraft with her friends and volunteering at animal rescues. She also owns an LLC which will be featured at River Ciry Days this year and offers crochet goods, stickers and more!

Kevin studied Mathematics and Music at CSB/SJU. Today, Kevin works in Residential Life for St. John's University. For leisure, Kevin enjoys running, climbing, and playing chess.

Alex Sell
Alex is from Rosemount, MN and is currently a rising Junior at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL majoring in biochemistry. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching any variety of sport, especially baseball. Alex also loves spending time in nature and has spent many summer afternoons at Lebanon Hills Regional Park.

Jack Wagner
Hi everyone! My name is Jack Wagner, and I am a student pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Music at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I play trumpet for the group and I love commercial and lead playing. Along with performing in Two Sundays this summer, I am working in a new internship with IonConcertMedia as a production assistant. I also lead my 9 piece brass cover band, The Gentlebrass. I am very proud to be a part of this big band, I believe the group gives a lot of young musicians exposition to challenging big band music, a great community of players to connect to, and not to mention several performance opportunities. Conor Stoebner and the team have succeeded at creating an awesome band and I hope everyone is able to come see a show!

John Metzler
John was born and raised in the twin cities area. He has been playing trumpet for 17 years and is especially fond of jazz music. He is currently working in family’s window cleaning business while pursuing degrees in business and music from the University of Northwestern. In his free time, John enjoys spending time in nature, riding his motorcycle, and travelling whenever possible.

Sean Litterer
Sean is from the south metro of Minneapolis, and is going to be a freshman in the trumpet studio at UW-Eau Claire this fall. Along with his love of music, Sean enjoys video games, boba tea, and throwing big rocks into large bodies of water. Sean also has a vinyl and CD collection that he has spent way too much money on.

Natalie Roth
Natalie is a music education/trumpet performance major at the University of Iowa. This is her fifth summer playing in Two Sundays and her second summer being fun (playing band basketball). When not playing trumpet, Natalie enjoys scrapbooking, running, and stacking chairs. She is excited for her future career as a band director, where she can share her love of music with students, and also stack a lot of chairs.

Aaron O'Connor
Aaron is a music major at Anoka Ramsey Community college. He mostly plays pop, jazz, and rnb, and loves performing in the twin cities. He is also a music teacher at a few different private schools and loves making music fun for kids. Outside of music he enjoys biking, taking road trips, and playing monopoly.

Addison Stoebner
Addison Stoebner, 19, is a guitarist with over 12 years of experience. Currently attending the University of St. Thomas, he balances his academic pursuits with a passion for racing go-karts. Outside the track, he has fun working at Lifetime Fitness and cherishes moments with friends, whether it's jamming to tunes or going on new adventures. This is Addison’s 4th year playing with the Two Sunday’s big band, He looks forward to each and every rehearsal and performance.

Corissa Uberecken
When she’s not playing jazz music, Corissa loves practicing guitar, baking cookies, and biking around the metro. She’s been playing piano for 12 years and is excited to reprise her role as the pianist in Two Sundays this season!
Drums
Eric Wu
Eric grew up in Chaska and recently graduated from the University of Minnesota. He misses college already but at least he doesn’t have to room with Parker (Alto Sax) anymore. Eric is blissfully unemployed until September, when he will start his accounting job which has a higher starting salary than both Parker and Gianna (Trombone). Special shoutout to Peter Olinto. Drummeric.
Bass
Bryce Davis
Bryce is a rising junior at Berklee College of Music in Boston studying music production and recording. Bryce has played in the Two Sundays ensembles for 7 years, primarily on the bass but also playing drums and keys in other years. Outside the band, Bryce has played a variety of styles in numerous other ensembles, some in-school and some extracurricular. He also enjoys music production and arranging for both the musical and technical aspects, recording music for many projects and groups during his time at school.

Patrick Lyons
Patrick is from Hutchinson, MN, and is a recent graduate from St. John's University, majoring in Accounting. He has been playing percussion for 12 years and also is a self-taught guitarist and drummer. Outside of music, Patrick enjoys hiking anywhere there's woods and going on motorcycle rides with his family.

Aiden "Zion" Gallucci
Aiden is a rising senior at Chaska High School. He has played trumpet for 7 years and currently plays in the school Wind Symphony. He also runs sound and projection at his church and joined Two Sundays to mix sound. Outside of music, he enjoys playing baseball and tubing at his cabin.
